Integrated Document Management System

BoardCloud has its own document management system which is used in a number of places, including:

• Meetings - where a dedicated document repository is kept for each meeting
• Committees - where each committee has its own document library
• Members back-office document store

Document Security

Documents stored in an BoardCloud resource library are uploaded into memory, converted and encrypted, after which the uploaded document is deleted from memory. This ensures that no source documents are ever stored on our servers.

Uploaded documents are converted into PDF format and encrypted using the AES-256 algorithm. 

Document Visibility

Documents uploaded to a specific committee are viewable by any member of that committee.

Meeting documents that are uploaded to a meeting resource library are viewable by any member of that meeting, except Guest attendees.
