1

Setup your first committee

• Click Committees on the left nav.
• When the committee page opens Click + New Committee
• When the Add New Committee pop up opens, type a name like Test Committee into the Name filed and click Save

Add committee members

• The Test Committee needs members, so to add your first member, click on the Members pencil icon on the left
• Click the Add button on the Assign Members pop up that appears
• Select a member from the Member dropdown that opens below 
• Click Update
• Close assign Members pop up

Create your first meeting

• Click the green + icon on the top right of the committee frame
• Select and click New Meeting
• You will land on the Create a New Meeting page
• Enter a meeting title like Test Meeting
• For our test meeting you can ignore the rest of the entry data
• Click the Create button

Craft your first agenda

• You will land on the Meeting screen
• The top Overview panel shows the pack cover, links and attendees
• Look for the Agenda tab midway down you screen on the left
• Click the Section button below the Agenda tab
• A new row will open with the default text New Section
• Overwrite this text with your Welcome or similar opening agenda title
• Add as many new sections as you need

Upload documents

• Now let's upload some test documents
• Select any section of your agenda, then click the three vertical dots (kebab) on the far right of your section title
• Select Upload Documents, the second option on the Agenda Sections Options sub-menu
• Browse for a suitable file to upload and click Open when you are ready
• The file will be placed under the agenda section you selected
• You can drag and drop sections or files as required
• Add as many files as you require

Preview your board packet

• Let's take a look at our work
• Click on the board pack cover image in the top left of the screen; it's the picture under Overview - Details - Meeting Pack
• The pack viewer will open, allowing you to navigate the pack
• If you need to make changes, add sections or documents, close the Viewer
• Then make your changes and open the pack to review it as many times as you need to

Publish & distribute your pack

• Let's publish and distribute our pack
• Click on the Meeting Control 'cogs' in the top right of the Meeting screen
• Select Publish and then click Publish Meeting from Publish Control pop up
• Then open Meeting Control again and;
• Select and click on the second option, Notify Attendees 
• Select and check the checkbox with your name from the Attendee list
• Click the button near the bottom Send Email Notification
• Once the mail has been sent, navigate to your mail box
• There should be a new email in your inbox, with the your name in the subject and Welcome to BoardCloud
